Welcome to Regents Place, a unique development featuring 3,4 and 5 bedroom homes situated in the historic county town of Chelmsford.

Chelmsford's long and interesting history can be traced back to the Romans. The London to Colchester route of the old A12 follows the roman road which is now Moulsham street.

The town has grown slowly over the centuries. The Chelmer and Blackwater navigation from Chelmsford to Maldon opened in 1979 and the building of the railway in 1843 saw rapid expansion of the town. The railway opened up communications into London's Liverpool Street and today the journey time is just 35 minutes.

Chelmsford is well serviced by major trunk roads, the A12 linking London to Ipswich. The M25 is within easy reach and Stansted Airport is just a short cross-country drive via the new A120 dual carriageway.

If you have children there are several pre-school playgroups, excellent primary and secondary schools as well as Anglia University.

Most sports and leisure activities are well catered for in the area, including all-weather courts for football, basketball, netball and hockey. The town has clubs and associations to cover most interests.

Chelmsford town centre is the perfect place to shop with many specialist stores and high street names. There are local shops for everyday needs and superstores are just a short drive away for the weekly shop.

Whether its a trip to the theatre or cinema, the town has a varied and exciting entertainment scene. Explore the many country parks or cruise along the River Chelmer and River Crouch Estuary. Relax and unwind in a traditional pub, bistro or a la carte restaurant in Chelmsford or visit one of the pretty surrounding villages.
