Oxley Park, Colchester

Oxley Park is set in an idyllic location just north of Colchester Town Centre. Colchester is the oldest recorded town in Britain, and in AD 43 it was here that the Romans first colony was established, you can still see the remains of the wall and the town gate today. Colchester became an important weaving centre in the Middle Ages, and attracted a number of flemish weavers. They influenced the ancient tall houses and the steep narrow streets in an area known today as the Dutch Quarter.
Oxley Park is a development of traditional style 3 & 4 bedroom family homes and is built on the site of an old school. The buildings blend harmoniously with the rolling countryside that surrounds the site.
