Welcome to Friars Court, a unique development featuring 2 and 3 bedroom homes situated in the historic market town of Sudbury.

Sudbury, set in the heart of the Stour Valley, is an area of outstanding natural beauty that has attracted painters such as Gainsborough and Constable. Gainsborough House, just one of the fine historic buildings in the area, is now a museum to his work and open to the public.

Many high-street names and small specialist shops are to be found in the old listed buildings. The Corn Exchange, built in 1841, was the meeting place for farmers and corn merchants on market days, which sold their corn by sample. Now the Corn Exchange is the home of Sudbury's well-stocked Library.

There are school for children up to the age of 18, as well as good choice of leisure facilities, particularly at Quay Lane just a short walk from Friars Court. Here you will find the cricket and bowling green and tennis courts. At the end of the lane is the Quay Theatre which offers a year round programme of music, dance and drama.

Enjoy a meal at one of the many fine eateries or a drink in a contemporary bar or traditional pub. Relax in the picturesque park at Belle Vue which is just a short walk from the town centre, or take a picnic and watch the rowing boats on the banks of the River Stour. Around Sudbury itself there are many areas of the open space giving numerous opportunities for the country walks and cycling, so you will never out of things to do.

Friars Court is also well placed for travel with just a short cross-country drive to Ipswich and the A12 with a direct route into London, Stansted Airport and the M25. For Rail users Sudbury   BR Station offers a regular service into London Liverpool Street Station, with a journey time around 85 minutes.
