Welcome to Ashbrooke Place, a select development of traditionally styled 4 bedroomed family homes set in Eastwood Road, Rayleigh.

Rayleigh is first mentioned in the domesday book of 1087 where it was under the lordship of a saxon nobleman, Sweyne. He was one of the greatest landowners in Essex. Sweyne built Rayleigh Castle, one of the earliest Norman castles in the country.

In the 1780's, within the area of the castle, a windmill was built. It was considered to be the tallest and one of the finest in Essex and remains one of Rayleigh's landmarks.
